Canvas Art
All of our Canvas Art is printed on the same Supernatural Canvas substrate mentioned above.
Our wallcoverings and murals will adhere to a variety of surfaces without damaging the surface underneath.
For the best results, surfaces must be flat, smooth, and clean to work best. This includes primed or painted drywall, glass, finished wood, sealed cement, and others.
Although we have had some applications that worked on these surfaces, we do not recommend brick, cinder block, wood paneling or other non-flat, textured, or porous surfaces.
Commercial painting and wallcovering contractors will be familiar with the installation of our commercial vinyl wallcoverings and wall murals. The same tools, adhesives, and installation methods that they use all the time are used.
If you need recommendations for an installer in your area, please contact us. From time to time, LW Contract will provide installation services ourselves depending on the location and scope of the project.
On smaller projects, many of our customers have installed our exclusive Peel & Stick adhesive backed products themselves. Installation is easy and clean, and we provide the tools to smooth out the material and remove any bubbles that may occur.
All of our commercial mural substrates meet the requirements for washability and scrubbability of a Type II material. Typical maintenance can be done with a soft damp cloth and gentle cleanser if necessary. Tougher stains may require the use of every day spray-on cleaning products. Avoid the use of abrasive cleansers and bleach.
For extra stain, chemical and scratch resistance, we offer commercial topcoat additives onmost of our materials. And we also offer Dupont Tedlar ©, a well-known clear film laminate, for decorative surfaces which require the highest possible degree in wall protection from stains, chemicals, and impact resistance. Please inquire for additional information, costs, and lead times on these extra processes.
Absolutely! Our wall murals can withstand the high moisture in bathrooms and other high moisture rooms. When installing the mural, make sure that the wall is completely dry of any moisture and dust. For the best result, use our breathable Supernatural canvas.
LW Contract murals can be placed outside when using an outdoor vinyl material. Ask one of our sales associates about our outdoor materials.
